Lynn is a retired engineer who discovered writing after retirement. He has written many short essays for a Defiance, Ohio, magazine and had one published in Chicken Soup for the Soul. He spends most of his time writing essays for group critique by the Defiance Writers Group, which he enthusiastically organizes. If you ask him why he keeps the Defiance group going, he'll modestly tell you he wants to improve his descriptions of characters and emotions.
